Overview of Firmware Release 1.3 for the RealWear Navigator 500
My Camera
Added a 1:1 aspect ratio option to the My Camera app.
Kiosk mode
The RealWear Cloud now supports the Kiosk Mode feature for the Navigator 500. Kiosk Mode allows a device to be set up to run, for example: only one application to simplify the user experience.
More languages have been added:
- Danish
- Norwegian – Bokmål
- Turkish – available as OTA update
Change of default keyboard
The language keyboard is now the default keyboard.
My Settings
Additional features to improve the connection process.
- WIRELESS NETWORK now switches to GET CONNECTED when no Internet connection is detected.
- GET CONNECTED now opens the Wi-Fi connection help.
Android security updates
Security updates released by the end of August 2022 have been integrated into the firmware.
Bug fixes
As with every release, bug fixes and minor improvements have been integrated.
