Connectivity<\/h2>\n

The comprehensive connectivity of the RealWear data glasses, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a barcode scanner in the camera, is crucial for use in the Industrial Internet of Things. These features are used, for example, in maintenance, where it is often necessary to read and process machine data and then integrate it into ERP systems in a structured manner. In this context, the industrial AR glasses prove their suitability through their particular robustness and long battery life.<\/p>\n

The flexible compatibility of the devices enables access to browser-based Internet of Things platforms as well as direct work in Android applications. The use of beacons or QR codes for integration into applications or IoT platforms is also possible.<\/p>\n

Augmented reality with headsets<\/h2>\n

Augmented reality (AR) applications are becoming increasingly important in Industry 4.0. The sensors integrated in the RealWear data glasses, such as GPS, digital and magnetic compass and a gyroscope, provide precise location and movement information. This means that information and values can be displayed with pinpoint accuracy, e.g. a specific component remains permanently highlighted even when the head is moving strongly.
